Claire’s Clarity

Beauty comes easy
within the healthy
Health comes easy
Within the wealthy

Pageantry is not as fabulous as it may seem,
When the whole human race is on each other's team,
And although crooked teeth,
Or crossed eyes,
At least I'm a little bit happy,
No rules to abide!

And although free,
I'm poor,
And although poor,
I'm me.
And that's all I would wish to be,

Although sometimes I have to deal with hunger,
I would never wish to be older or younger,
Because lately, I've been complete,
Because I haven't had the need to compete,
With girls my age,
Girls on the same page,
Of insecurities.
