Clarity

By

How foolish we were.
How full of ourselves.
Entitled.
Selfish.
Convinced clarity belonged to us.
She showed us.
Through evil just how clear she can be.
And we sit.
And wait.
The herd they call us.
No matter where it began.
Pawns in a chess game.
Survival of the fittest.
Clear as day.
