The line of clarity is
fading from the world I use to know
it saddens me to comprehend
humanity is losing its soul.
My vision is not altered
my eyes can clearly see
all the adversity and turmoil
that never use to be.
What happened to the courtesy?
and the kindness we use to share
it saddens me to comprehend
humanity’s destined for despair.
And although there’s so much sorrow
right outside my own front door
my heart still clings to the faith
that the grace of all mankind
will thrive again once more.
