Closet

My heart lives in your closet
Given life by the fabrics that adorn you
Our shared space; your scent mingled with my own
An intoxicatingly alluring concoction...
Its potency leaves me joyously breathless.

My soul is in that closet
Amongst my most prized possessions
Your presence playfully makes itself known
A boyish charm that forever lingers there...
Intertwined with the countless threads of cotton
Carefully selected to flatter the curves of your body
Which are mine to hold.
