Coffee

I've been reading too many books lately. My minds a fantasy.
But reality is cold and bitter. Like coffee.
Loneliness creeps upon my skin and finds home in my heart.
And I'm suffocating with the hands of sadness at my throat.
I realize I'm swimming in my tears. Drowning. I can't breath.
But I keep reading my books. Drink my coffee black.
And learn how to swim.
