Cold Canyon

A sinuous deep gorge
A passage through her heart
The place where her tears gather
And slip into the dark
She hoards them in her soul
Too afraid to let them out
A purposely flooded antechamber
She never bothered with a spout
If she let the trickle start
Oh,she could never make it stop
So instead she mines the canyon
That's winding through her heart
