Cólera Revisited

From Neruda to Ariza
I’ve followed the sodden path
That travels from despair
To adoration.

Modern men have got it wrong
When they say love is gone
And cannot come back
From She Who is All.

Through Perseverance and Faith
One can find anything lost
Even if it takes
A Lake of burning Fire.

Remember, young ones that it may
Take fifty-seven years to
Accomplish True Love
And find inner peace.

Live life,
But do not forget
Your one true love,
Whatever It may be.
