Colorado Massacre: Loving Memory

We try to see the truth unfold,
Only to find it dark and scary;
We try to understand each others actions,
Only to get confused, concerned;
We try to listen to our thoughts inside us,
Only to lead us down a no righteous path;
We try to forgive the ones who hurt us,
Only to cry in anger;
We try to ask ourselves for time,
Only to not have what we most desire;
Our souls have bled; our tears soon run dry,
We can't forget what we have to fight for;
We try so hard to find the courage to
rise against our deepest fears,
Because in the end it'll be ok.
