Colorless

By

I met Color,
When I awoke in a place like no other,
Color became a guardian to me in more ways then one,
But when the gray came to close we began to run,
But as I run I begin to see,
That everyone is dull and still but me,
I stop and ask Color why this is,
And Color says,
It's because they chose to live in the dark,
And I am what sets you and them apart,
Suddenly I want to be colorless and grim,
And in the dark like them,
Then Color begins to cry and mope,
Because I was Color's last hope,
I begin to drift away and turn a darker shade,
As Color fades,
Into a world that's gray and dim,
Just like the colors before him,
And I'm left colorless,
In a achromatic abyss.
