Comatose

The mind I possess is tactfully adroit.
I've a soul that runs ocean wide and deep.
With eyes wide shut, I live, breathe, and dream,
I'm neither wolf, nor am I sheep.

I fight to stir but my body seems broken.
I wish, how I wish, it would quake!
Lachrymose, for I've been comatose.
I've been asleep while coherent and awake.
