Come Unto Me.

I asked to see you. The longing as I waited
with every heart beat. You was never there.
Over the hill pass the narrow bridge, I waited.
In the pitch black darkness as the south winds
blows. I tasted you on the tip of my lips. Alone
in the darkness, I waited. With every car light that
passes by the narrow bridge and over the hill, my heart
beats faster as each car approaches. I waited. You was
never there. As my mind and flesh have a discussion
to leave this place. I awaited your touch, your smell
your taste. As my mind won the battle to leave,
my body stood still at will, silently I waited.
I waited! You was never there.
