Did you win your prize...
Did you see me at all, when you looked into my eyes?
Was I human, or a machine; a nothing on which you would feed?
How can I care, when it was all a big dare
one I made with myself, when I came off my shelf
A tortured soul, a tattered heart
you walked in ready to play the part...

How peculiar it felt, to make such a mistake...
Fully aware I would be your cake
Have your pleasure and eat it too,
a conscious error, when I fell in love with you...

You see I knew from the start, you would steal my heart.
It was shocking to see, how adeptly you approached me.
Dripping with charisma, you led me astray...
Not deterred at all, by your upper hand at this thing.

Stupidly, I fueled my fantasy-
working to peak your interest in me,
Try too much and make the wrong calls-
that is how hard I would fall...

That day I was made a cliche',
along with the others whom I had replaced.
Face after face, I saw profiles on display
a reminder, it would be me one day.
"Don't do anything you'll regret", you said to me...
Intuitive, since that came to be.
