Compassion

How very disgusted our God must be
With people in our fickle frailty
The human mind void of sensitivity,
Thoughtlessly refusing obediency.
His unlimitless love should set us free,
Spare us from indulging our misery.
Instead we languish in infirmity,
Preferring, embracing adversity.
In the deepest profundity
His promise is reality.
His love so lenient by necessity,
Patient and comparing compassionately
For His creation of humanity
To embrace us all with eternity.
