Concubine

The beach and rocky stand submit to fury,
the shore cannot confine the restless sea.
Only Boreas can tame her
and dissipate her energy
by binding her within
the concentric circles of his might,
where vanquished and sublime,
lace petticoats tossed aside,
she turns to him in penetance
and he exonerates her wrath.
