Condition Unknown

My throat throbs as I choke back tears
Heat rushes to my head and threatens to explode

Like a hot air balloon,
being ripped off the ground,
rushing violently against grey wind and rain,
forcing itself against dense atmosphere into black space.
Like a meteor,
crashing into cloth,
squeezing out hot air like a jet,
slamming into planet
knocking it out of orbit.
Like Saturn and Jupiter,
colliding into a deep, angry pressure.
Like Earth,
spinning mad into dark space.
Like magma,
spitting out of the sun,
melting Mars,
disintegrating solid rock into fiery hot liquid,
dripping down my cheek onto my pillow.

As I watch you drown in illness
a solar system collapses.
