I feel confident when the needle comes out,
and the bandage is on

When the day is done and the moon shines bright,
and the test is taken

When the fears have been faced,
and the light is turned on

Without confidence,
I would never ride the bigger bike,
Climb the taller rope,
Hike the longer trail

The greater path would grow old and weary,
with no one to walk it
