Conqueror of the Sea

Others would be an elegant ship
Cruising along the safe glamorous waters
Not entering the dangerous roaring seas
Because it's too fearful of getting wrecked

I'd rather be a ship that sails
And is guided by the winds to be free
Than to be the ship that failed
Because it never tried to sail the blustery sea

I'd rather feel the water against me
Rushing with rage
Than to rest at the doc
Only to be scrubbed and cleaned

I'd rather fight the majestic waves
With soaring pride and honor
Although I'm damaged I shall not give up
For there shall be a path for me
To a gateway of happiness and prosperity

Yes I'd rather go where the storms go
And cross the dangerous ocean
No matter the odds against me
I will conquer the sea
