It started in Wuhan, a Chinese town,
Near a Bio-Weapons factory;
Now it has gone full-blown,
The rest, as they say, is history.
The Coronavirus has now circled the world,
And from this make no mistake;
Its grip has now been unfurled,
Leaving sickness and death in its wake.
Italy and Spain have set the stage,
Travel bans are in effect everywhere;
Social distancing is now the rage,
One is almost afraid to breathe the air.
Stocks continue to plummet out of sight,
In every store the shelves are bare;
Hospitals are overwhelmed from this deadly plight,
Quarantines are now found everywhere.
Governments are doing the best they can
To restore order during this trying time;
Everyone seems to have a plan,
Still there is no reason or rhyme.
I, for one, may have found a cure,
Something to help ease all this fear;
How much it will help, I am not sure,
To stop this virus, drink more Corona beer!
