Costco

Winter break anxieties in a bulk shopping mall
Crowds growing thick like eggnog
Eggnog mixed with panic attacks
Men that look like him
the man who violated me
I plaster his features on every face in view.
My shaky hands push a heavy cart that is forced sideways by rusted wheels.
I can't breathe
he got away with touching me.
Just as violent to my body as the trama is to my mind
He had a get out of jail free card
and I lost the game two times.
