Day in and day out I look for a way out
Not knowing if I'm coming or going
I need light
I need things to get right
Future so bright, I can hardly see
Riding along the coast for answers from the sea

Like a prisoner in my own vessel
I yearn for a place to nestle
The woman who feels trap and needs out
Ripping my skin from inside out, there's no doubt
I'm bless in God's name and desired
But my emotions and thoughts are fully wired

Victory has its day to come
Once I play out of this slump

A riveting touch against my glistening skin
I ask where you have been
Love so tender a blazing degree
Craving a love so deep into me

Ache, so I wander and willow
Until my time, that I will know
My heart beats slow
