Courage

Hope is a metaphor, for a fly caught in a web
Who struggles against its life's explicit ebb

The only genuine passion, is the rival of fear
For when courage is shown, all evil will sear

Not even the strongest of binds, will keep it tied
Courage is ancient, yet thoroughly tried

Its unending heartbeat will never betray
But burn a hole through the darkness and conquer the fray
