Crashing Waves

The waves are crashing,
Crashing against my legs,
I hold you close and dear.
To my heart that will tear,
If I let you fall.
Waves keep crashing,
Against your bloody corpse.
Trying to take you away,
I fear my dear,
Will float away.
I didn't mean to hit you,
I didn't mean to hurt you,
I didn't mean to kill you.
You forced me to.
You pushed and shoved,
Provoked me to push back
You got what you wanted,
Wings to be free and fly,
Fly away from me,
Your cage.
So here we are your bloody corpse,
Here comes a wave.
I let you go into the water,
To be swallowed by the waves.
We will meet again my dear,
I fear.
