Craters

I don't know what love is
Is it the way i feel
when the craters run deep
in your cheeks
When your hoarse voice laughs with mine
near the paint-covered walls
Is it the way I feel when you touch my ripped jeans
wiggling your fingers through the holes
I don't know what love is
Does it reflect in the memories i hold
when i felt so small in your arms
The world is too small
I want to feel small
in your arms again
But now the craters are far away
on the moon miles away
The paint on the walls is fading
Your laugh is just a memory
I don't know what love is
I don't know what it is
is it the way i feel when I remember
those memories I hold dear
Because I don't know what love is
I don't know what it is
