Crave

I still crave you
With every molecule
my body is composed of
Every inch, every finger tip
Can feel your silky skin

I find temporary peace
Until I re-begin to think.

There goes my 5 AM alarm
Followed by your arm
Holding me tighter,
Pulling me closer
Whispers in my ear to stay
"Baby don't go to work,
I'll pay you for the day"
But I escape & as I stretch
I feel your sleepy eyes watch
My vertebrae bend.

I still crave you
My body still prays for you
To come touch it, to love it
I reminisce
On every minute, every kiss
I still crave you
