Move out the way please we have somewhere to go,
I know what you are thinking, damn they're moving slow.
But the race has never been given to those who are deemed swift,
But to those who take the time to hone in and cultivate their gifts.
Now the time has come and we are on the move,
Sorry if in our travels we don't have room for you.
We are piggy backing carrying each other's dreams,
Keeping each other motivated and promoting our own esteem.
Now you want to love us, you want to call us by our name,
No longer are we ghetto, the crazies or the lames.
Who we are was never hidden you just chose not to see,
That on the day you looked at us you looked at royalty.
No I'm not being cocky simply walking in the light,
Wishing while we were on our journey you chose to treat us right.
Now there is nothing left to talk about,
your words are just not true,
It's too late to reconcile this thing no matter what you do.
Here's what you can do for me, step aside and let us through,
And when we receive our just rewards and the credit that we're due
We'll huddle up and yell TEAM US, smile and think of you.
