Crimson

Finger tips cold
Nail beds blue

The heat pours out of this shell like a river
In crimson
The lilacs colour over run
By crimson

Fingers no longer bend
Only thoughts of peace move through this head

The water of life waters the ground soaking it
In crimson
The sent of iron fills the air brought to you
By crimson

Shaky arms fold over a heart
Eyes close for one last time
