Crisis (Covid-19 Pandemic)

By

From a distant place a killer emerges.
Stealth, heartless, hungry to expand.
A virus delivered by a culinary.
Brings death and illness to the land.

The breath of one deliver humanity
to a virus spread in a mist.
Faces bound as man struggles for air
As the virus needs protein to exist.

Traveling far in the belly of transport
fracturing economies on global scale.
The fabric of digital, remote and
virtual allowing man to prevail.

First Responders and Essential Workers
heroic, face the endless days.
Attending to the helpless and dying while
millions stay home and give praise.

Quarantines and shut downs bring
shortages and food lines.
Families separated from each other
longing for the good times.
