Cross Roads

There's a demon down at the cross-roads
He'll promise you fortune and fame
He says he can give you the most
But in the end you're tossed into his flame
I met him at the cross-roads
He asked for my sweetest desires
I had nowhere else to go
So now I spend my eternity in fires
But if I had another choice
Another will to take my voice
I'd take that demon by his promise
And realize my faith has not fallen
There's a million reasons to give up
The pain that's caused the shed blood
But more the reason to feel the love
From the hearts centered or the god above
Whatever desire whatever greed
Gave that demon my heart, my soul to thieve
So await my next chance
My face hidden
To kill that demon my demons
And at last
Be forgiven.
