Cry

What do you do when you want death
Depression and anxiety in every breath
But you’re too afraid to die?
Cry.

What do you do when you can’t do anything
When you’re barely holding on by a string
White lines across wrist and thigh
Cry.

What do you do when you want to scream and fight
But even dim lights seem to bright
No matter what you do your face is never dry
Cry?

What do you do when all your energy is up
When you’re always fragile as a teacup
Look up and gaze at wonder of the sky
Try.

What do you do when you start to get better
Living in the same tattered old sweater
When your mind isn’t always the bad guy
Try
