tears streaming down her face
blood marking her arm
she collapses to the floor
what would her mom think

she put on a sweatshirt
she watched as her mother and father fought
she slipped out of the house on her way to school
no friends, no one to question the marks on her arms
her blond hair covered her face masking the tears

she walked through the halls
a shadow to everyone around her
no one sees her
she walks to the bathroom
she barely makes it before she breaks down sobbing
the bell rings
she stays no one's going to miss her anyway
