Cycle of the Day

The sky's color resembles turquoise.
The clouds are like a bed of cotton.
The green trees dance in the summer breeze,
Their leaves are green like Imperial jade.

The flowers sing a new song as the rain falls.
Their different colors like a rainbow sent from Heaven.
As the Sun steps down, the Moon rises up.
Its white glow reflects off of the morning dew,
Like little lanterns being lit.

The dark sky allows us to look into the known universe,
As the stars and planets twirl in the sky.

The moon, so crescent, like the bow of Artemis,
As she shoots an arrow of hope that pierces the land.
Artemis bows and takes her leave,
As Apollo now flies across the sky.

A new day begins again,
With a new joy repeated once more.
