Daddy

Daddy
Take the time, Sit and play
Let go through that door, forget your rough day
Respect her, hold momma’s hand
Remember anger, they do not understand
Daddy the Rock, the glue to our home
You are the king of this thrown
Hug and kiss them, Love mommy through and through
They will emulate all that you do
The teacher without a degree, these lessons learned are free
One chance is all you get, don’t look back with regret
Make these memories significant, make them worth re-living
Raise your children to be selfless and forgiving
Now is your moment, before it’s too late
They grow so fast
They will not wait
