Daddy Jesus

When the baby is crying, oh his mamma is too.
Do you feel Jesus hold you, like I often do?
Between you and the Father,
There's nothing she needs.

God shelter the baby
That comforts his mommy
When she's tired and broken,
And reaching the bottom.
Speak through his kisses,
Love her with his touch.
Because without You and her baby
Life is too much.
When pain wants to tempt her,
Tempt her with joy.
Remind her of the honor of raising Your boy.
When lost by the burden of feeding her home,
Feed her with blessings beyond what she's known.

And when she is blessed, help her stand firm
To build a life for her children
Beyond what they've earned.
When she falls give her mercy.
When she's weak give her grace.
Fill her with Jesus,
To give more than she takes.
