Daddy’s Daughter

We go from being our daddy's daughter
to our daughter's mother
Kill each other even though black lives matter
People fear what they do not understand
I don't understand why we're out here killing each other
I don't understand why we all just can't get along
So, yes, I fear a lot of things
I fear that I'm going to be the next one dying
I don't want my mother lying in her bed crying
Because she lost one of her daughters
We can all come together and make this world better again
All y'all want to do is gang-bang and talk slang but who knows
We can stop all these killings in the world
Why are we living like this, watching our backs everywhere we go
NO I don't want to live like that anymore
If I die please don't cry just let me go
