Daddy’s Girl

Daddy's Girl

Once was so small, he knew his call
Can love arise, so small in size
He did his best, above the rest
Her hair in curls, for Daddy's girl

All though the years, they shed some tears
He took a wife, to share his life
His girl in time, thought this was fine
And in awhile, this made her smile

Some times were rough, this girl was tough
But so much fun, down in the sun
As time went on, oh what a bond
And Daddy knew, his grand kids, two

She hoped and prayed, that he would stay
He wanted to, for his girl Sue
But God had plans, for this strong man
Now his heart is part, of daddy's girls heart
