Sad little girl
Whats so wrong in your world.
Your only twelve years old.
It can't be anything major
Your life has not begun
You need to go have some fun.
Noone understood the pain in her eyes
Noone knew about all those nights that she cried.
Noone understood what she has seen
Before she even hit thirteen.
Let me explain whats going on.
Shes trying to figure out why her dads gone.
He was taken infront of her
She dont know why
Noone tells her anything
So all she can do is cry.
Now here she is 20 years later
No dad by her side
Shes sad when it comes to fathers day
She still dont get why they made him stay.
What if she wants to get married?
Who will walk to down the aisle?
Who will give her away
Or kiss her cheek gently with a smile?
Shes a strong woman now
She learned to manage her feelings well
But she still does not agree with the system
She believes he should not be in jail.
She continues her life everyday
With high hopes that maybe one day
He will be released from that prison to see the world and pick up where they left off
Daddy and his little girl.
I love you dad. I believe in my heart that you did more than enough time for what happen. I truely feel like they were just trying to make an example out of you. You may have been taken when I was young, but you have never been forgotten. I love you and will always be your little girl.

My dad was taken from me at the age of 12. I was so close to him and I just miss him... The only way I can express how I feel is to write it down. I want to share this because I know there are others out there than can relate to my situation. Your not alone.
