Daddy’s Girl at Last

Daddy's little girl that was never me
Mommy's little girl is all I thought I would ever be
Then my mom met him and I saw her smile filled with glee
And that's how us three started a family
It wasn't very big but that was fine by me
I didn't have a dad before him and that's a fact
Then he came into our lives and I can't thank him enough for that
I sometimes wonder if my mom and him never met
And it fills my heart with regret
Cause I didn't like the past
But now I'm daddy's girl at last
