Daddy’s Little Girl

I remember how you were there thick and thin,

how you tried to get rid of all the pain I hid within.

How you and Mama loved each other,

and how proud you were to call her your lover.

But that was before the world swallowed you

because on that day our family was through.

You started coming home with an alcoholic breath

and you just laughed into the face of death.

I used to love how you spent time with me

and now the only time I hear from you, you're asking for money.

Me and Mama had to move away

because we couldn't stand the new you in any way.

They arrested you once, twice, ad three times more

but now I don't care so just stay with your whore.

So in the peace and quiet we call our new home

bet you all your money that I still feel alone.

And now I know to stay out of the danger filled world

because of it all I am no longer Daddy's Little Girl.
