Daddy’s Little Princess

Goodbye my father, giver of my care;
Your sins were all too much for you to bear.
Ten years of your life you'd given to me,
To take your life, take it away from thee.
A time I thought I had stopped breathing too,
Here you left me to only mourn for you.
Stunted time 'til you were ripped from my grasp,
Why, why is the only question I ask.
May you forever rest in peace my dear,
Never forget, doth not matter the year.
Thoughts of you will never be laid to rest,
I'll always be Daddy's little princess.
