Daddy’s Lost Again

Take my hand daddy, I know the way. I know a place where we can go,
just me and you, a place where we can share the day.
It's where the grass is green, there's slides and swings,
and it's my most favorite place to play.
We can spend this time just catching up
there's just so much that I would love to say.
Such as, where did you go, and why did you leave,
and do you think that maybe this time you could stay.
All I've ever wanted was your love, time, and attention,
and all you've ever given was D.N.A.
So tonight before I sleep I kneel before my bed and pray,
for God to lead you home because it seems you've lost your way.
