Dame, I Didn’t Harm Thy Fortune

Dame, I didn't harm thy fortune
Dame, I am no man of scorn
Dame, had you known love was worth it
Same would be your hopes to morn

Maimed, I was to ever hold you
Maimed, you were to ever see
Insane, the ways you had to torture
Framed to call me what we seem

Dame, I didn't harm thy fortune
Dame--how could I--when all is free
Dame, I didn't hurt your fortune
Name the ways I loved falsely
