Walking on the trail of mankind
I felt sad inside
a raging river flowing below
beautiful trees forrested the earth
arriving at the falls and standing upon
a black lunar pipeline
a rainbow highlighting a halo
asking for a wish
water enveloping the breath of doom
it gave me hope
walking back I hit a wall that weakened
me to my knees
weeping an angel came
to brighten my way
surrounding me with animals from the forest
in prayer we thanked, wept, asked for
removal of our demons, and regrouped
I lay there recuperating and
continued on my way
weak with every step
gaining strength I found in the
goodness of life
picking dandelions I made it back home
inspired alright to make it
alone another night.
