Danger of the Teenage Heartbreak

I always did love the danger
The rush, the feel of adventure
Life full of disaster and miracle
Painted into a picture, so beautiful
With him
A new beginning pushing through boundaries
Turning towards an end, written deep in my diaries
Ripped at the seams and cut from between
The hope and the promises I had never seen
With him
As strong as I was
And just as it does
Heartbreak became my endeavor
Without a defender
Nothing left for each other
With no sign of a pause
Mistakes became our cause
The pain and aches will define us
Time and healing will create us
As the nights are still cold, the wind still blew
And I always did love the danger
So I'll wish for you
