Daniel in Distress

Daniel faces a dragon,
protect one's castle he'd do.
The dragon was relentless,
defeat he felt twas true.
Valiant defender on horseback
to save the knight's life.
A crest with a hatchet,
"My splendid, dear wife!"
Laila strikes down the dragon.
He thanks her with kisses.
She gives a wry smile,
"Now you'll slay the dishes."
