Dare V/S Fear

My summer vacation 2015,
Gave me opportunities umpteen.
I took myself a dare,
To overcome all my fear.

I hung myself on a flying zip-line,
Which sent shivers down my spine.
Then I walked through a bridge 300 feet above
And by now adventure sports had become my love!

I was tired and my heart was beating faster,
But this experience had made me a master.
The last to do was 120 feet high walk in the sky,
I wrapped a harness around my chest and my thigh.

Telling jitters and fear a forever goodbye,
I learnt a lesson not to be shy.
Overcome your fear and never ask why,
You shall succeed only if you try!

I took myself a very tough dare,
And that’s how I overcame my fear!
Each word I said is absolutely true,
I overcame my fear and ran all through!
