Dark of the Night

If I start to chip,
Will you hold me together?
If I fall apart,
Will you help me get better?
If I die inside,
Would you help to bring me back?
Or when my eyes start to dull,
Will you bring the color that they lack?
When my wrists bleed,
Will you hold me and ask why?
When I crack and I crumble,
Will you love me and with me, cry?
When I can't take anymore,
Will you fight to save me?
From the war and the battle,
That not even I could beat?
When I've finally had enough,
Will you hold me as I go to the light?
While everyone else leaves,
Will you hold me through the dark of the night?
