Dark Reflection

Where does Darkness begin
In the fading twilight and cease of light
Creeping fingers of night extend
But the shadows know not the fear they bring
It is the reflection, why we flee
A dark mirror
Inner demons reach from the other side of our hearts
Poisoned voices beg and plead
Turn and Look!
But do not turn, do not heed!
Banish them to fade and burn in moonlight
