Dark Tales #2; Senseless

“LET GO!”
“WORTHLESS BITCH!”

Again, the sound makes me jump.
Afraid to even move from my spot, my shoulders, I slump.
I want to say something, I really do!
Sometimes I invite her over, and help clean and dress any bruise.
I just wish she wouldn’t say such stupid things to light his fuse.
That is a battle she will always lose.

“Pleeease” she sobs
I sigh, putting my headphones in, to block out his attack-

*SMACK*
