Darkened Metal

A pinch,
a scratch,
a lapse in time.
Nothing around,
but darkness,
and the glare.
The metal darkens
as the redness flows,
and the light redeems itself.
You feel the pain;
people start to see,
you don't understand.
Remembering nothing,
questioning everything-
you don't understand why.
Then it hits you:
The silver hits the floor,
the sorrow ends.
