Darkest Desires

My love, taken my very being, shame,
All mine, mine, mine for my pleasures, then;
Everlasting, my love, unending pain,
To keep your mind, I take to pen,
For your heart, unending wishes maintain,
Oh why, my fleeting love, should take to blame?
Darkest desires in darkest nights, Chained:
Chained to want, beginnings of fascination,
Yet, you sorcery, living in times past,
Now, my love, your memory I ration,
Time’s violent kiss, darling, at last has passed,
Absolution buries hushed temptation,
But for you, my dear love, I do forgive
For you, my dearest love, I do forget.
